I went to the Malmi 75 Air & Motor Show to see an SCC Ultimate Aero TT that was not there after all, because they canceled it (and a lot of other interesting cars were missing as well – Gumpert Apollo, McLaren MP4-12C, “Eleanor”, F40 and so on). That event was sadly not organized in the best way possible, but hopefully the organizers (Top Gear Suomi and D1 Ultimate GT) suck in all the feedback and do a much better event next time. Because I have lately been introduced to the world of event organizing I know the best feedback you can possibly get after an event is when a client walks up to you and says “I enjoyed this so much – thank you – and I am already excited about your next event!”. That is what you want to hear – you want people to have so much fun that they want to do it again, as soon as possible. The Air & Motor Show was first of all overpriced – but if people would have gotten value for their money, then the reputation of such event would be good, and next year people would gladly pay the same price “because last year was awesome”. Now I think they need to work quite hard if there will be a next time… people do not forget.
But anyway, here are some photos from the event. Obviously the backgrounds are what they are, and so was the weather, but does not take away the beauty from the cars! The De Tomaso Pantera GTS is just to die for – and so is the Ford GT.

You really managed to take beautiful pictures. I have to say that I liked the show a little more than what you wrote but that might be because I don’t see so many supercars. It was a shame though that those few rare cars didn’t show up after all.
