When I started this blog I never thought about making money, I just wanted a place where I could write whatever came to my mind. I wanted to share things close to my heart and meet other nice people sharing my interests online. Now four years later when blogging is getting more commercial the idea of getting paid (more) for what I do might be there in the back of my head, but rather than monetizing, I want to do branding – which eventually can lead to better opportunities. Although you need to finance all sweet things in life somehow, I have to say that trips and other opportunities I’ve gotten through the blog have given me so much more than any money compensation received.
 
With that being said, getpalmd.com is not interested in:
 

• Guest posts, because this is a personal blog and people come here to read what I say, not what your advertising agency copywriter wrote for me,

 

• 99% of the sponsored post offers I get because the content does not suit this blog, but if you can offer me an interesting idea / subject and a good offer, then please try and you might get to the 1%,

 

• Link building that doesn’t make sense - I don’t have a problem giving away dofollow links to websites and companies I like, have tried, or just want to write about – that’s a personal choice I make, where I want to link and where I don’t. But my keywords and phrases are not for sale.

 
So after this list you might wonder is there anything I am interested in? Yes. Press trips, different travel opportunities, automotive opportunities (car loans, test drives, personal visits / interviews etc), free high heels (just kidding… or not really), collaborations (social media campaigns, brand ambassador, partnerships etc), and real work rather than just placing a banner on the website and that’s it. Give me a project, that is a lot more fun. I want to be able to write great content to my blog, and if you are able to help me make it possible, then you will get what you want in return. Fair enough win-win strategy, right?
