Paris: Toyota and Lamborghini
I had one free day in Paris without any motorshow activities and used that wisely – I walked around for almost 7 hours. Took the metro from Vanves where I stayed (nice area) to Louvre and then walked, walked, walked… The funny thing was that I didn’t take a single photo of the city. And the reason for that is that in a way I feel Paris can’t be described with photos – for those who haven’t been there need to see it for themselves, and no photo can do it justice, it’s the atmosphere you should experience. First day I arrived I told people back home I’m not even a huge fan of Paris, too crowded and traffic is insane. However when you relax, put your car in a parking garage and don’t touch it for a few days, and just walk, it gets nicer.
Cappuccino in the morning sun in a nice café. Go to a bakery and take away a warm baguette and croissants. Sit down in the sun with a book in one of the many beautiful parks there. It’s charming, after all. I would not want to live there though – I’ve realized with this car passion big cities won’t work for me, it would drive me mad to sit in those traffic jams for hours and I want to live my dream and drive as much as possible – but it’s a sweet city holiday destination.
I might not have the normal touristy photos of the city, but I have something. I went car shopping to Toyota showroom without enough credit, and of course a common sight in Paris – the supercars outside the expensive boutiques. Photography priorities I call it – this is my Paris. (And the interior stitching on the GT86 matched my pants… we would make a good team)

What about Tesla showroom? Did you go / notice that? Few minutes away, nearby, though not on Champs-Élysées, and not that much to see – except one or two cars… But then again, that’s reason enough, right?
Must be the first time that a toyota showroom has looked interesting!
Nils Kajander, noo, didn’t see it or know there is one
Have to save it for another visit. Prefer to arrive to the airport next time though
