Rimac Concept One, this love is electric
I didn’t think electric cars would win my heart, because I’m afraid of the lack of noise. Some people say that when you sit in a car that accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than 4 seconds, you really do not care if you hear the engine or not. I have to disagree a little, the sound is pretty important to me. And that’s what worries me, surely the new electric sports cars will deliver a lot of power and enjoyable drives, but if you don’t hear a growling engine, then is it the same thing or is it just nearly perfect, but not perfect?!
Anyway. 1088 hp from Croatia. Just got the press release to my inbox and first picture of the car… I say WOW, it’s a stunner. 88 will be made and they will go on the market in 2013. Does this basically mean I have 2 years to collect a sum of money that is yet unrevealed, but they say it’s slightly more affordable than a Pagani, Koenigsegg or Bugatti… hmm?

Cause exotic electric speed demons is really what the general populace is after nowadays. Still very cool and all, but let’s take this electric tech and make it more affordable and accessible!
I dont see myself ever buying on of these. I am one of those (wierd?) guys who would buy an F355 over an F458 simply because I think they sound better with a capristo stage 3… Sound is extremely important to me and I dont think I could get on with a silent car!
